A collecton of the best vintage female singers. Listen to a time gone by with this dreamy compilation of the best female artists of the 1930s and 40s.
A great line up of female vocalists, my favourites on here are Ella, Billie , Sarah, Peggy and Nan Wynn. But its a good value CD, the only one I skip when I am playing it is Doris Day, its a “comedy” kind of song, and she was better than that. But it is a good CD and a kind of “easy listening ” type of album.Sheila Appleton

COVER NOTES

Listen to a time past on a dreamy compilation of the best female artists of the 30s and 40s.

“It’s been a long time since I’ve been able to find music like this, that I like it so much, that it is so familiar to my ears. Tonight I’m like
the character in Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris movie, I just want a bar of friends picking me up with his car in a corner, to go partying” Marcus Ruiz

Lovely album, although my favourite is still Perfect Love Songs. Keep up the good work, it truly is brilliant!
