Small Music Groups
Aside from all the razzamatazz of the big bands and orchestras, small music groups made an important and lasting contribution to the music scene from the 1920s right through to the 1940s.
Born out of the worldwide obsession with social dance, perhaps more commonly known as Ballroom dancing, small groups of musicians were famed for belting out many styles of vintage dance music, ranging from the classic Swing and Charleston, to the Jive and Boogie Woogie era.
